Miznon is an informal restaurant serving Israeli street food. All of the food is served in pita bread pockets with fresh ingredients. It is a lively place. Music blares out at about a 100 decibels (slight exaggeration) but needless to say it is loud. There is seating available at the bar where you can perch on bar stools and soak up the atmosphere or there are tables outside on the street directly in front of the restaurant. There is a set menu in Hebrew and in English. There are vegetarian options as well as meat dishes.
Miznon is located at 23 Ibn Gabirol Street, Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel. Phone: 03-631-7688
Sitting at the bar looking directly into the open plan kitchen
Watching orders being prepared. The chopped ingredients certainly look colourful and appetising.
A bottle of local Israeli soda water.
Open shelving with oven baked whole cauliflowers as well as a good supply of fresh cauliflowers
Lunchtime! This is the minute steak sandwich which has paper thin slices of lean meat.
The white sauce looking component is actually dollops of tahina paste made from sesame seeds.
(be'te-avon) בתיאבון ~ Bon appétit ~ Enjoy~
